How to apply

Each year, the UWC Eswatini national committee receives offers of entry from the UWC schools and colleges which includes financial aid, for which we select students to study the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. UWC Eswatini follows a thorough and well-rounded selection process to identify motivated and talented young individuals who align with UWC’s values and mission.

Please make sure you find out as much as possible about UWC before going ahead with your application. It is important that you understand the aims of the organisation and the commitment involved in the programmes that are offered. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

1 December 2025 – Application period opens

13 February 2026 – Closing date for submission of application forms (strictly online)

21 February 2026 – All applicants write entry test at Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA

27 March – Successful candidates will be invited for interviews

30 March – Final candidates nominated for scholarships.

Mid-April – UWC Schools confirm/reject nominated students

Early May – Final students awarded UWC admission and scholarships
